It is a requirement that staff undertaking this course will have completed AWARENESS OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT or Refresher within last 3 years


To raise awareness of child exploitation and trafficking.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Know the signs that may indicate a child is being exploited
  • Understand methods used to groom a child
  • Recognise the impact of child exploitation on children and their families
  • Understand why and how children are trafficked
  • Describe the East Riding processes used to prevent, disrupt and respond to exploitation & trafficking
